Description
Clayton Bain specializes in the design and fabrication of concrete counter tops, tables, and fireplace surrounds. Each project is approached as sculpture that just happens to be functional. He can help you through the design of your project or build to suit. With quality craftsmanship and an artistic eye, each piece is a true work of art.
If you are looking for a material that can express your individuality, concrete is it. Concrete is extremely beautiful. Its brute strength and mass are undeniable, yet it maintains a delicate, imperfect elegance. Its versatility, (it is a liquid after all), makes concrete an excellent choice for counter tops, fireplace surrounds, furniture, wall tiles and other architectural design elements. Clayton can turn concrete into a design focal point, no matter where you are pouring it.
The concrete forms are fabricated in his studio, located in Cerrillos, NM. He will personally install the pieces in the Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or Taos region of New Mexico. Since the work is fabricated in his studio, it can be shipped anywhere in the US and installed by your local contractor.

Green & Sustainable
Concretes mass is the major material used in the Southwest to achieve smart, passive solar design. It absorbs the heat of the winter sun and radiates it back into the home during the night.
Tips
Whether your kitchen counter top is a place to toss the mail or have a glass of cabernet and a 5 course meal, the counter is inevitably a focal point of the home. Why not make it a piece of art too?
